Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar/ Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar :
Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar ( ঈশ্বর চন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগর ) was a great son of Mother India. He was a great multi-talented social reformer, educationist, and a great lover of mandkind. He also a great friend of the poor and the helpless.

He was born on 26th September , 1820 at Birsingha in the district of Midnapore. His father's name was Thakurdas Bandyaopadhyay and Bhagabati Devi was his mother.
He graduated from Sanskrit college in Kolkata. Later he  was the Principal of that collage. He was given the respected title 'Vidyasagar'. - the ocean of learning. Vidyasagar is a combination of two Sanskrit word. ‘Vidya’ means ‘knowledge’ and ‘Sagar’ means ‘sea or ocean’. Thus, Vidyasagar means “Ocean of knowledge and wisdom. He was also the Inspector of school. He wanted education for all. He set up many school in rural Bengal. With his active help, the Widow Remarriage Bill was pass in 1856.
He authored several books such as Bornoporichoy, Betal Panchabinsati, Upakramanika, kotha mala, Banglar Itihas, Sitar Bonobas, etc.
This great man left us on 23 November,1891 .

Teachers Day Essay, Teachers Day Paragraph

In India, 5th September is celebrated as Teaches' Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a Teacher.

When Dr. Radhakrishnan became the President of India in 1962, he was approached by some of his students and friends and requested him to allow them to celebrate 5th September, his "Birthday". In reply, Dr.Radhakrishnan said, "Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege  if September 5 is observed as Teachers' Day". The request showed Dr.Radhakrishnan's love for the teaching profession. From then onwards, the day has been observed as Teachers' Day in India.

Apart from the fun aspect of the day it is also a day when one can look back, admire and get inspired by Dr. Radhakrishnan, a small town cunning boy, who grew up to become one of the most respected politicians in the history of democracy of India.

The 'Mango' is the National Fruit of India. It is a sweet fruit. It is a common fruit of our country. It is a seasonal fruit, too. The mango is a fleshy stone fruit belonging to the genus Mangifera. Mangoes are rich in vitamin A, C, and D. It is also called the king of fruits.  It is generally found in the summer season. Mangoes are grown commercially in a large orchard. There are over 100 varieties of mangoes in India They are in various range of colors, sizes, and shapes. The popular kinds are the Langra, the Gopalbhog, the Fazli, and the Ashwini etc. Malda District, state of West Bengal in India are famous for mango in our country.

I am a student. My daily life is very simple. I get up early in the morning. I wash my hands and face. Then I go ot for a walk. I walk for half an hour. The morning walk refreshes me. The name of our village is Ghatsa. It is in the district of South Dinajpur. It is a big village. It stands on the Kushmandi. It is a big village. It is four miles long and two miles wide. There are five thousand people in our village.There are many educated people in our village Very few of them work in high offices under the Government . There are teachers, professors and businessman who live in towns  and come to the village during holidays. There are two primary schools and a high school in our village.  The climate of the village is very good. It is neither so cold and nor so hot.  Pure drinking water is provided. There are two small rivers. The rivers and a small forest are its ornaments. There is a market and a post office in this village. As the villagers are hardworking  and honest, our village is being improved with many facilities.We live a happy life here. We love our village very much.
