A RAILWAY STATION
A railway station is a place where trains stop and where trains start from. It is generally housed in a building. The building has many rooms for different purposes. The most important room is the booking office where tickets are sold and goods are booked for transit. People are found in a long queue to buy tickets. A big railway station has different classes of passengers. There are restaurants and book stalls in a railway station. A railway station is always a crowded place. Passengers come and go. The hawker's shout vendors move, the porters walk to and fro and the beggars beg singing a religious chorus. Thus with the noise of the crowd, the whistle of trains and the roar of engines, a railway station is always a place of great noise.
