At that time, a little boy was crossing the same road. Probably he was unmindful about the speed of the truck. The driver tried his best to control the truck. But he could not do it. The truck ran over the body of the boy. The boy died on the spot. The road became red with blood. It was a terrible sight. The truck ran away rapidly. We returned our homes with a sad psyche. Be careful in crossing the road.

আশা করি তুই সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বরের কৃপায় ভাল আছেন। আমি গতকাল তোর চিঠি পেয়েছি। তুই একটি রাস্তার দুর্ঘটনা সম্পর্কে জানতে চেয়েছিলেন। গত মাসে আমার চোখের সামনে ঘটে যাওয়া একটি রাস্তার দুর্ঘটনা লিখতে আমার হাত কাঁপছে। আমি স্টেশন রাস্তা ধরে যাচ্ছিলাম। একটি ট্রাক পুরো স্পিড নিয়ে আসছিল। এমন সময়, একটি ছোট ছেলে একই রাস্তাটি অতিক্রম করছিল। সম্ভবত সে ট্রাকের গতি সম্পর্কে ধারনা ছিল না। ড্রাইভার ট্রাকটিকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করার জন্য যথাসাধ্য চেষ্টা করেছিল। তবে তিনি তা করতে পারেননি। ছেলে ঘটনাস্থলেই মারা যায়। রক্তে রাস্তা লাল হয়ে গেল। এটি ছিল এক ভয়ানক দৃশ্য। ট্রাকটি দ্রুত পালিয়ে গেল। আমরা মন খারাপ করে আমাদের বাড়ি ফিরলাম।  রাস্তা পারাপারে সাবধানতা অবলম্বন করবি।
