Complaint letter to a neighbour about his maidservant who throws dirty things in front of main gate of your house

How to write a Complaint letter to a neighbour about his maidservant who throws dirty things in front of the main gate of your house. A polite letter of complaint to a neighbour about his maid-servant who throws dirty things in front of the main gate of your house.

 Dear Mr Roy,

I am sorry I have not had the pleasure of knowing you personally though I happen to be a close neighbour of yours. I hope that you will not take amiss the following few lines which I address to you in a friendly spirit.

It is all about your maidservant. She is in the habit of throwing the refuses and filthy water just in front of the main gate of my house, though there is a dustbin, not very far from your house. She does not take the least trouble using the dustbin. The other day my elder sister asked her to throw the dirty things into the dustbin, but she paid no heed. The result is that in front of my house, there is. at present, a heap of garbage, giving out a foul stench.

I would, therefore, request you to direct your maidservant to use the dustbin for the purpose for which it is intended.

I hope you will realise our trouble and do the needful in our favour.

Yours sincerely,

K. P. Basu

Reply to the above.

My dear Basu,

I am very sorry to learn that we have so long caused inconvenience to you. I have given my maid-servant a serious warning: and I hope that she will not do it in future.

Tomorrow I shall engage a sweeper to remove the garbage that lies in front of your house.

Yours sincerely.

 J. N. Roy
