My dear Father,

I am very glad to have a letter from you. The result of our Annual Examination is just out. You will be glad to know that I have passed obtaining good marks in all the subjects. I have stood second in order of merit. My beloved teachers have praised me highly and declared that I shall be rewarded for my record marks in English. Please inform my superiors of my result. I shall start for a home within a short time. I hope, you will not be anxious for me. How are mother and others? My best regards for her and love for all.
