Health can be promoted by encouraging healthful activities, such as regular physical exercise and adequate sleep, and by reducing or avoiding unhealthful activities or situations, such as smoking or excessive stress.

Health is soundness of mind as well as the soundness of body. It is a gift of Allah to us. Without good health, a man can not be happy in this world. It is at the root of all happiness and success.


The blessing of good health:

Health is wealth. An unhealthy man can not enjoy his life. A poor man with good health is happier than an unhealthy rich man. A healthy man can do his duty to his own family and to his country also. An unhealthy man becomes a burden to his family and even to himself.


Health is essential for all activities: 

A healthy man can do a lot of work. But a sick man is always confined to his sick bed. He cannot do any work and cannot get out of doors. Health is, therefore, essential for all activities of life. So everybody must have good health.

How to preserve health: 

We should always be careful to improve and preserve our health. To have a good health we should follow the rules of health. We should take a balanced diet and do physical exercise. Over eating is bad for health. Green leaf, vegetables and fruits should be eaten regularly. Besides this preventive medicine should be taken to keep the body free from diseases.

Health can be lost easily but it can not be regained so easily. So weshould take care of our health. We must not forget that "Prevention is better than cure."
