A RAINY DAY
In Bangladesh, it rains cats and dogs during the monsoon months. When it rains, the day looks gloomy. The sky is overcast with clouds. The sun seldom appears. Wind blows and parches of thick cloud sail across the sky. Lightning flashes and thunder roars. Roads go underwater. Travellers walk along the muddy road with their clothes tucked up. They walk barefooted. Most of them used umbrellas but they cannot escape being drenched. On a rainy day birds seldom leave their nests and cattle are kept within their sheds.
