My dear father,

Your kind letter is just to hand. Our Annual Examination will begin on and from the 5th December. I am trying heart and soul to prepare well for the Examination.

You know that I am very weak in English. I cannot quite follow my teacher in English. I require a private tutor to coach me on the said subject. So, I do hope you will please engage a tutor "to coach me English in the morning. I am sure I shall cut a good figure in the next Annual Examination. 

We are quite well here. With best regards to you and mother.
