A SCHOOL

There is a high school named Dr Shahidullah academy where I have been reading for five years. It is situated on the bank of the Halda river in the district of Chittagong. There is a small playground in front of it, a pond on the right side and a mosque on the left. The main road of the village is in front of it. It is a big school. There are about five hundred boys and girls on the roll. It is a two-storeyed E-shaped modern building. It looks very beautiful. It has a large number of classrooms, with a headmaster's room, a stall common room, a student's common room, an office room, a science laboratory, a library, a carpentry shop, an auditorium and a large prayer room. The classrooms are large enough for 60 students to take their seats comfortably. Besides, it has an attached hostel and a big gymnasium on the backside. It is one of the best and oldest schools in the district. In fact, the building, as well as the location, is beautiful and charming.
