Long ago, Robert Bruce was the King of Scotland. Once his country was at war with England. Robert Bruce ran away to save his life. He took shelter in a cave and lay down. He was hopeless.
Suddenly he saw a spider. It was busy in spinning a long thread on the ceiling of the cave. But the thread broke. The spider fell on the floor of the cave. The spider never became impatient. Six times it failed. At the seventh attempt, it succeeded. Robert Bruce was encouraged. He again gathered a large number of soldiers and attacked the British army and won.
